Bringing students together for a classical education
Cnoc Mhuire is a classical education centre for the Connacht region of Ireland. We organise educational, cultural and recreational activities for primary and secondary level students.
How we began
In 2023, several families came together with a unified vision of a complementary education for their children. They envisioned a classical education with grammar, logic and rhetoric as its focus.
Today
Cnoc Mhuire Classical has brought together a team of dedicated tutors from across Connacht. It now provides classes and activities adapted to the ages and interests of all our pupils, from primary through to Leaving Certificate level.
Our Ethos
We believe that every student should join in the “Great Conversation” and every teacher should lead the quest towards the True, the Good and the Beautiful, "further up and further in". We teach our students how to learn; we inspire them with the works and wonders of great minds; and we help them to discover and develop their own unique God-given talents.
